Several new products have been hand-crafted in the college by students themselves and every effort has been made to make their company a sure fire success. SNOW, SNOW, QUICK, QUICK, SNOW!! - With the mild autumn we have been experiencing I thought it might be a novelty to look back upon a winter that sticks out in people's memory. Remember around 12 years ago when the power lines were brought down due to extreme weather conditions and Tibby was plunged into darkness for a week. Sales of candles and "Super-Ser" calor heaters went through the roof...even worse still the electric pumps didn't work in the pubs ( thank goodness for bottled beer)....CLICK HERE for a few photographic memories.

WHAT A CATCH! - Reed Bradshaw pulled out a bit of a monster whilst fishing on the members pond in Tibby on the evening of Friday 28th February. For you angling boffs this Common Carp was caught on the whip with double red maggots. Any more like that Reed and the member's subs will be going up! His dad recons that it was quite a surprise for Reed, as he's been doing most of his fishing at North Wingfield recently.

THE TIBSHELF TORNADO - 50 years ago, on May 19th 1952, Tibshelf hit the national headlines due to a tornado that hit the village. For details CLICK HERE

MINE SHAFT OPEN ON THE TRAIL If any of the residents thought they were seeing things as a result of their New Year hangovers on the Five Pits Trail recently - they weren't. A large hole has appeared, as a result of a collapsed mine shaft. close to Tibshelf Ponds.
